The tool gives you full flexibility regarding which PDF documents enter your binder and facilitates transferring your files. This free, user-friendly tool lets you merge an unlimited number of PDFs into a single file for simplified saving and sharing. This utility has a single task of merging PDFs and it performs this function well. The binding resembles zipping your files, but this programme doesn't reduce the size of your PDFs. The number, in the end, equals the sum of the size of all documents involved in the process.
Even those with least experience will be able to use it with ease thanks to the clean user interface and lack of endless lists of menus and tools. Instead, the five buttons on the main screen do all the work. Moreover, this free programme doesn't display any ads.
It's safe, too, since it gets installed locally and doesn't upload any of your documents to an external server. To use this programme, all you need to do is select the files you want to bind from your PC and use the drag-and-drop function to import them onto the interface. Then, you just need to arrange them in your desired order and click the 'Save' button.
Unfortunately, you can't edit your documents before combining them. The only function of PDFBinder is what it says in the title name. Being so simple, this programme is also small in size. It takes up an unnoticeable amount of memory on your hard drive and requires low resources.
It runs on older versions of Windows, which makes this feature extra important. Subway Surfers. TubeMate 3. Google Play. The Best Black Friday deals. Bill Gates' favorite books of Hawkeye review. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate review. Windows Windows. Most Popular. New Releases. Desktop Enhancements. Networking Software. Trending from CNET. Download Now. PDFBinder is a simple tool that lets you merge any number of PDF documents into one, without having to resort to slow, user-unfriendly, expensive software.
Example: attach a "print" of a website and a scanned pile of vouchers to your meeting agenda, before you e-mail it as one single PDF document. The free version of PDF Binder is really bare, does not have any other features or functions other than putting together documents and combining them into a single file.
The program is quite bare, as it does not even allow you to view the final combined product, but one must open that in a PDF reader, most commonly Adobe. If someone has a full version of Adobe Writer, this separate program is not needed at all, as documents can be combined right there, when they are being created. In Adobe writer, they can also be edited extensively and be used as a simple reader. Also, converting files is not possible in the free version, and they need to be saved as a PDF version necessarily.
While arranging the files may be possible with the PDF finder, it is tricky to order them, as they are only visible in the list format and only the title of the file can be seen. So every time you need to know what order to put them in, you have to open a separate PDF reader, see what the document is, then go back to PDF Binder to arrange them. This actually makes a simple function more complicated, and time-consuming.
A simple view or preview feature would have made this a lot more intuitive. The program is only available on Windows , and not for other operating systems like iOS or Android. Since a lot of work and files are now saved on mobile devices, this is rather restrictive. In terms of functionality and ease of use PDF Binder is clearly the best program to use, however, the alternative program has more features than just binding PDF documents. For instance, PDF Wiz allows you to merge specific pages for several documents.
One can also navigate and edit the document and create a digital version of paper documents. In this case, PDF Binder works better. Overall, PDF Binder is a minimalistic, easy to use program that is fuss-free and does what it has to without any extra features.
However, one cannot view or preview the documents, and only see them in a list view or titles. This makes it more complicated to arranged or delete files from the comprehensive document. One would be better off getting another program with more features, than downloading PDF Binder, along with other programs for other features. It only combines PDF files with no limitation to pages. Is very fast, lite and useful program. I recommend to anyone who want to organize his PDF files. I use this program to organize music scores and my documents.
